Assisted Suicide?

The decision by Sky TV to broadcast video footage of the final moments of Craig Ewart’s life has been controversial.  In one blow Sky TV has cheapened death, it has become a freak show, something that should be private is now entertainment.  It is difficult to know what the thinking of those that decided to promote the idea of showing the video, it doesn’t help their case, whatever it is they thought they were trying to achieve it appears bizarre.

The whole issue concerning asisted suicide is clearly painful and tragic for all involved but and it is a but should people give up: shouldn’t people just hang on and use fortitude and be courageous in fighting for survival no matter how difficult.  It might encourage an attitude of giving up on any problem and meekly accepting fate.

We believe assisted suicide is morally wrong and we believe euthanasia should not be legalized in any form.
