South African Duplicity and Murder

One of the most disgusting events of recent history is President Mbeki’s open support of the Mugabe fascist dictatorship, his so called “quiet diplomacy” is the betrayal of the Zimbabwean people to a repressive regime, Mbeki’s diplomacy is duplicitous, now even more news emerges from South Africa of dreadful, murderous attacks on “foreigners” in Johannesburg, many of the “foreigners” are Zimbabweans seeking refuge in South Africa.  These events are a disgrace. Zimbabwean refugees should be granted proper refugee status and given support, President Mbeki has shown he is unfit to be a negotiator in  Zimabwe he should be ashamed of himself and of the current state of affairs in South Africa.

When the “listen” word becomes abuse.

Senior Labour Party & Government bosses commenting on yesterday’s electoral disaster are beginning to become total idiots. How many times have we heard the phrase in response to yesterday’s electoral catastrophe:” we will listen”, or “we are listening”. In reality this verb is close to becoming a word of abuse. Of course, what it really means is - we will continue as before, you can say what you like, you can complain but we will continue squeezing the poor and flattering the wealthy! Tax benefits for the rich - tax increases for the poor! This Labour government has become lifeless and rotten.
