So Tony Benn wants to return to parliament as an MP. One agrees ageism must be challenged and if one feels fit and able at 82 - why not. But seriously, is he trying to get three generations of Benns in parliament for the Guiness Book of Records? Maybe he would be wiser to think again and remain “in politics” elsewhere and enjoy his retirement.
Perhaps King Lear was wiser than we think.
